93 Activist on the floor, 93 Activist... take one down, pass it around, 94 Activists on the floor

I find it facinating, I find it kinda sad... it seems to be that nearly every empowered activist in history has been assassinated. Furthermore, it's scares the living shit out of me considering that I as well am an activist. Tho, I take comfort in knowing that I'm no target of anyone's considering my range of teaching is pretty nil and I'm more like a lazy activist who does more research than action. 

Off the top of my head I'll name a few beautiful souls who have been assassinated:

John Lennon

Matin Luther King

Malcom X

Harvey Milk

Lincon

ok ok, so that's a few that are off the top of my head but what if I said that I could easily provide up to 94 political activists who have knowingly been assassinated? Jaw dropping isn't it? Now these 94 people do not include those who have died mysteriously or gone missing.

Currently I'm in the process of reading the biography for a every person listed on that wiki page and I think everyone should take a minute (hours) to do so.
